Food was delicious! I had the Birria taco and preferred it here rather then the ones from Cancun in Findlay. Waitress was very kind. Will definitely be visiting again!

Welcoming! Very quaint restaurant. The food was fine although the meat was slightly dry. My omelette was good and I enjoyed it with the hash browns. I would have preferred a pepperjack cheese and a different bread for toast but what I got was still acceptable. I would go back!

We’ve been denizens of the Seneca County area for three years now, and can say with quite a bit of confidence that there’s a dearth of authentic Mexican restaurants for three or four counties wide. Other restaurants take a stab at authenticity, but seem to always manage to muck things up with substitutes or shortcuts. We learned this morning that if we want something genuine, El Dorado Diner is here to save the day. Before ordering, I asked a few questions: was the barbacoa actual cheek meat or was it just roast beef deceptively labeled? I also asked about the chorizo. Our waitress, Domiana, assured me that all of their offerings are either homemade or imported straight from Mexico. Moreover, their tacos are not loaded up with cheesy gunk, but come adorned just as they should: onions and cilantro. That’s it. On a corn tortilla. Thank you and gracias, as our food was delicious and the meat was real barbacoa with its quintessential smooth texture. The tamales looked and tasted like . . . well, Mexico. They were quite hearty and they came plated in the husk. My husband ordered the chorizo and eggs; he wolfed them down before I could have a taste, which must mean that they were good. Also noteworthy is the fact that they do NOT use city water at their restaurant. The menu was full of tempting choices, so we’ll be back to try more. A few tips for the house, though--I’d love to see some desserts like flan or tres leches to round out the meal. Also, the chips are quite "light".
